Terms of this Agreement:
By purchasing a puppy, sending a deposit or presenting payment to the Seller, the Buyer understands that they are agreeing to purchase a Chihuahua. The Puppy will have been examined by a licensed Veterinarian, first shots given, wormed and any other necessary care before sale. The Buyer will be presented with the Shot Record and the Buyer is responsible for follow up Veterinary Care to insure the pup’s health at their own expense. The Buyer accepts FULL responsibility and ownership for the pup at the time of sale and shall deem the Seller no longer financially responsible for his/her care. The Buyer agrees to assume all responsibility for the health, well being and actions of the pup at the time of the sale and in the future. Lake Five Chihuahuas shall not be responsible for any subsequent illness, death or damage that might occur to the dog once it leaves our care. Lake Five is not responsible for any injuries caused by the sold puppy and/or diseases (zoonotic), parasites that could possibly be transmitted between humans and dogs or if someone is immune-suppressed with a weakened immune system that they understand that they could possibly get ill, harmed, or die from pet ownership, and that they are assuming all responsibility. Once the pup is in possession of the Buyer all sales are “as is” and Final.
The Buyer agrees that Lake Five Chihuahuas has informed them of the following:
Chihuahuas are delicate fragile dogs and should not be handled roughly. If exhausted by over play, Chihuahuas may suffer from low sugar (Hypoglycemia) and require immediate treatment or Veterinary attention. Chihuahuas can have a soft spot (Molera) on top of their heads, which can be injured causing damage or death if the animal is hit, struck or something falls there. This breed gets chilled easily and care should be taken in cold temperatures to protect them and keep them warm. We would enjoy hearing from you after you have settled in with your new pup. Emails, phone calls and pictures are always welcomed and encouraged. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about your new pup. Love and cherish this pup so it can grow to become a lifelong companion. We take pride and care in the raising of each pup and have put a lot of effort in socializing them, so we hope you will continue to do the same so your pup will grow up to be a well grounded dog for years to come.
